There is no more efficient way to promote your business while helping us to improve the local business climate than to join the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce. For only $125 per year you can be part of a group of business owners who want to meet you.

We encourage all our members to give their fellow Chamber members a chance whenever considering who to give our hard earned dollars for all the goods and services we use on a daily basis. Unlike other organizations and groups that require that you give your leads to someone in the organization, we have no such requirements. We provide the opportunity, the contacts, the climate and the encouragement and the rest is up to you.

The Nesconset Chamber is a valuable resource for the community. If you need a referral for a service or a product, give us a call. We enjoy an excellent relationship with local officials so if you are having a problem and you are not sure of where to turn, we can try and point you to the right person. And if you have an idea for helping the community, don't hesitate, let us know.

We have a vision of an improved Smithtown Blvd. From Smithtown all the way to Ronkonkoma. Our decorative street light construction program is due to start any time now. We have been successful in getting improvements approved to the traffic triangle at the corner of Smithtown Blvd. It will soon have new soil thanks to Councilman Werheim, irrigation, thanks to Legislator Kennedy and plantings thanks to Mazelis landscaping and Borellas WHolesale Nursery. The Chamber is the sponsor and will be paying for the water usage. This promised to be the best little triangle ever. Our concert series is now in it's fourth year, attracting thousands of people for free quality entertainment. We have been including a comedy night which nobody else is doing. We desire to be a part of a community that works together with local governments as well as our neighboring organizations like the Cleary School for the Deaf, The Smithtown Historical Society, the Nesconset Fire Department, The Smithtown Library and local churches, schools and Synagogues to constantly improve the quality of life in Nesconset and surrounding towns.

Why are we doing all this? To improve the economic climate of our community, to get our members involved so they can network and prosper and to make our community a better place to live and work.

If you are an executive or a business owner and are looking for a way to get involved, join the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce. I'd be happy to meet with you to share our ideas with you and hear your thoughts on how you can work with us to help the community and your organization thrive.

Steve Gargiulo, CPA
President
